Balance + Focus

Don’t worry about perfection in this class, we’re not here to create the most flawless shape possible. Instead, we’re training the mind to slow down, stay present, and observe our reactions so we can respond with awareness rather than habit. Balance work can be challenging, and transitions may feel awkward at times… but that’s exactly why we break everything down. Through repetition, we build skill. With a little discipline (tapas) and focused breathwork (pranayama), we can calm the mind’s constant chatter and come fully into the moment.

In this class, we also work with contralateral extension, stretching from the fingertips on one side of the body all the way to the toes on the opposite side. It’s a powerful way to connect and integrate the whole body. We balance that with cross-body core work to build both flexibility and strength.

It’s a playful, mindful, and energizing class. I think you will get a lot out of this one.

Spice level: Medium (but sometimes balance work can feel Extra Spicy, have water close by.)
