Stay In Motion
My yoga practice began in a studio where every class on the schedule was simply called Flow and every single one was tough. I was instantly hooked. For the first time, my racing mind would quiet, and all I could focus on was movement and breath.
At a time in my life when I constantly felt sad, sick, or exhausted, these classes gave me a glimpse of something different. And as I kept showing up, moving, and challenging myself I started feeling better, not just in class, but in my life. Back then, I didn’t fully understand what it meant to “practice yoga,” but without even realizing it, the yoga was happening to me. I began to notice patterns, trust myself more, and little by little, I felt less stuck, less sad, less sick.
Sometimes, the best thing you can do is just move your body… and then do it again and again.
